Rain Protection for Cameras. Early in my career, I attempted to photograph a tropical storm in Costa Rica without sufficient protection. My camera got wet, and I quickly realized how vulnerable gear is to sudden rain showers.
As a Costa Rica photographer, I now always carry waterproof covers, zip bags, and even simple raincoats for lenses. These inexpensive tools often make the difference between continuing a shoot and losing valuable images.
My advice? Never underestimate rain. Based on my experience, doing photography in Costa Rica means being prepared for sudden weather changes, so you can protect your gear and continue creating high-quality images.
