Design, light and a sense of place.
I’m Christopher Alga, a commercial photographer based in Costa Rica. I photograph architecture and interiors for architects, interior designers, hospitality businesses, developers and property brands that need a clear visual record of a space and the ideas behind it.
My approach balances accurate perspective and natural-looking light with atmosphere, materials and the relationship between architecture and its surroundings. The result is a mix of establishing views, interiors and details designed for portfolios, editorial features, websites and commercial communications.

04 PRODUCTION IN COSTA RICA
Plan around the building, not a template.
Architecture photography depends on orientation, weather, access and how natural light moves through a property. Before the shoot, I can review the brief, spaces and intended use of the photographs so the schedule is built around the strongest light and the project’s priorities.
For productions organized from outside Costa Rica, I can also help with location research, scouting, bilingual coordination and local logistics when required.

What kinds of spaces do you photograph?
I photograph architecture, interiors, hotels and hospitality spaces, residential and commercial properties, developments and design details.
Where in Costa Rica do you work?
I work nationwide. The schedule and production plan depend on the location, access, weather and the light needed for the property.
Can you work directly with an architect, designer or agency?
Yes. I can work from a creative brief and shot list or collaborate on site with architects, designers, art directors and production teams.
Can architecture assignments include aerial photography?
Yes, when aerial imagery is appropriate for the project and location, it can add context by showing the relationship between the building, property and surrounding landscape.
